Why $1 million dollars? | MakeCFHistory.com

The idea is simple! Raise $1 million dollars (and more) for Cystic Fibrosis research to find a cure for CF, and make CF history (a thing of the past)! Everyone is welcome to make a donation. All donations go directly to the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation, and will be recognized with a rose measuring 50x50 pixels. Your rose will be placed on this website forever, making it of timeless value and you will have your piece of Internet history forever!

Why $1 million dollars?

I hope it ends up being more, but $1 million dollars seems to be a good target number. The fact is that no amount is too much, and given that there is no limit to the number of roses I am selling and that each rose is purchased on a donation basis, my hope is that this website will continue to generate dollars for CF research for many years to come.
